SWA Kinsmen Sprint Meet
South Western Aquatics hosted its first home swim meet of the season on Saturday Oct 27 and Sunday Oct 28 at the Tillsonburg Community Centre Pool. SWA had a very successful meet hosting teams from Southwestern Ontario coming from as close as Aylmer and as far away as Windsor. SWA would like to thank The Kinsmen Club of Tillsonburg for being Meet Sponsors. Pictured is Kinsmen Dave Klosler with various SWA swimmers competing at the meet on the weekend.

FundScrip

South Western Aquatics swim team is launching a new fundraiser this year that allows families to raise money by making everyday purchases using gift cards. With every purchase made, a percentage of the purchase is sent back to the team each month. 60% of profits will go back to your families account and 40% will go to the club to offset shipping costs and to raise funds for future training equipment for the swimmers. Based on an average return of $360/year, your family would get $216 back to offset their swim fees.

Our goal is to raise $6,000 x 0.40 = $2,400 for the club.

That’s just 30 families buying approx. $650/month worth of gift cards for groceries and gas!! At this modest level, your family would earn $195 for the year which is $117 off your training fees!!

Top 5 Family Earners from last year
Owen Family           $763
Armstrong Family    $459
Pittock Family          $319
Bak Family              $289
Shearing Family      $219

Online Ordering:
Families go to the FundScrip website (www.fundscrip.com), register, set-up an online payment to purchase their own gift cards and pay for them from their own bank account using an EFT (electronic funds transfer). Note, we need a minimum of 10 EFTs registered before the first shipment can be processed. Each family can also check the total funds raised in their account on-line. You can even set-up recurring orders if you know you want certain cards and amounts each week. Once ordered, cards are shipped to our club within 2 to 3 days already organized in individual envelops for each family. Cards can be picked up on Saturdays at the Tillsonburg Complex following the Monday order date (Cards for Woodstock famlies that don't pratice Saturdays will be taken to Woodstock by our Woodstock Fundscrip coordinator and distributed during the first of the week). To maximize shipping orders, our club will have set shipping dates and ordering deadlines. Depending on demand, we will have either weekly or biweekly shipping dates.

Our club’s invitation code is QG4NX2
